Pump Station Maintenance - London
Regular servicing is critical to keep your sewage pumping station operating efficiently. Routine maintenance prevents reduced throughput, frequent alarms and costly failures. We recommend service intervals based on usage: annual for low?use domestic stations, quarterly for high?use or commercial sites, and bespoke plans for critical installations.
As part of major services we offer optional desludging using our tanker pump out and jetting service to remove fats, oils and grease (FOG), rags and sediment that cause blockages and odours.

Emergency Pump Station De-Sludging
If your sewage pumping station has overflowed or is tripping high level alarms, an emergency de-sludging is often required. Our engineers attend site, perform a tanker pump out, remove FOG and rags, and complete a follow?up service to restore reliable operation. We provide priority response for emergency callouts across London.
Practical Tips to Reduce Blockages
- Do not flush wet wipes, sanitary products, cotton buds or kitchen towels.
- Reduce FOG entering the system from kitchens; install grease traps where possible.
- Schedule telemetry or alarm monitoring to detect rising levels early.
- Keep a maintenance log and compare amp draw and run times to spot failing pumps.
